GWMF는 다음 주요 분야에서 재정적, 교육 및 연구 지원을 제공함으로써 국내 및 글로벌 교회뿐만 아니라 다른 종교 단체의 선교 및 자선 사업에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 데 전념하고 있습니다.

GWMF is dedicated to impacting the missional and charitable works of domestic and global churches as well as other religious organizations by providing financial, educational and research support in the following key areas.

BAM 교육과 연구 지원 (SUPPORT EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ON BAM)

GWMF는 사람과 지역 사회의 영적 및 물질적 필요를 모두 충족시키는 총체적인 선교 모델의 연구와 훈련을 지원합니다. 또, GWMF는 교회 및 기타 종교 단체와 협력하여 성경적 일의 가치관을 가르치고, 영성을 심화하며, 경건한 성품을 육성하는 지속 가능한 Business as Mission (BAM) 모델을 개발하는 일에 노력을 기울입니다.

GWMF will support research and training of a holistic missional model that meets both spiritual and material needs of people and their communities. GWMF will work in cooperation with churches and other religious organizations to develop a sustainable BAM model that promotes the value of work, deepen spirituality, and cultivate godly character.

총체적 세계 선교 지원 (SERVE SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE WORLDWIDE)

GWMF의 목표 중 하나는 전 세계 교회와 기독교 공동체가 자급자족하고 자체적으로 선교하는 교회와 공동체로 서도록 도우는 것입니다. 이를 위해 GWMF는 국내 및 글로벌 교회가 그리스도의 제자 된 기업가 및 비즈니스 네트워크와 긴밀히 협력해 총체적 선교를 추진할 수 있도록 지원해 전 세계에 총체적 복음을 전하고 실천하는 선교를 지원합니다.

One of GWMF’s aims is to help churches and Christian communities around the world to be self-supporting and self-propagating. To that end, GWMF will support global missions of proclaiming the whole gospel to the whole world by supporting domestic and global churches to work closely with Christian entrepreneurs and business networks in promoting holistic missions. 

BAM사역을 통한 선교와 공익사업 지원 (SUPPORT RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE WORKS THROUGH BAM ORGANIZATION)

GWMF는 국내 및 글로벌 교회와 함께 선교 및 사회공헌 목표를 우선시하는 신앙을 기반으로 한 사회적 기업 (BAM)을 지원할 것입니다. 특별히, GWMF는 일터와 시장에서 의도적인 전도와 지역개발을 위한 사회공헌 사업을 지원할 것입니다.  GWMF의 현제 파트너 교회나 단체가 적절한 새로운 파트너 단체를 제안하면, GWMF 는 먼저 타당성 조사 통해 일터선교지로서 선교적 그리고 경제적 잠재력을 평가합니다. 타당성 조사 결과가 긍정적일 경우, GWMF는 교회와 함께 선택된 BAM 단체의 선교 및 자선 활동을 재정적으로 지원하고 계획된 결과에 대한 책임을 함께 이루기 위해 노력합니다. GWMF의 지원금은 파트너 단체들이 전도와 선교 뿐 아니라 지속가능한 BAM사업을 통한 시설과 프로그램을 세워 지역사람들의 위한 직업 기회들을 넓히는 데 도움을 줄 것입니다.

Together with domestic and/or global churches, GWMF will identify and support faith-based social enterprises (i.e. BAM) that prioritize both missional and social objectives. Most importantly, GWMF will provide support for religious education and charitable works in and outside the organization. Once an appropriate site is suggested by local and/or global churches, the GWMF personnel will evaluate the site for an initial feasibility study and assessment. If the outcome of the feasibility study is positive, GWMF will provide contribution/grant and monitor to support the missional and charitable works of the selected BAM organizations together with Church. The funding will help the organizations to set up facilities and programs for religious education as well as expand work opportunities for the people.

하나님 나라 확장 위한 BAM일터의 자생과 재생산 지원 (BUILD RESILIENT COMMUNITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS)

GWMF의 최종 목표는 지원하는 BAM단체들이 자급자족하고 성장하여 자체적으로 새로운 BAM단체를 세우며 지역사회에 하나님나라를 확장해가는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에, GWMF는 의존성을 조성하는 것을 원하지 않습니다. 오히려, GWMF는 파트너 단체들이 선교와 사업경영 분야에서 모두 자급자족하여 사역을 지속적으로 유지해 갈 수 있도록 연구하고 실천하는 일을 적극적으로 도울 것입니다.   파트너 단체들이 자급자족에 도달하면 단체들은 사업체 운영 중에 필요한 인건비, 재료비, 설비비, 유지비, 세금 등 모든 경비를 제외하고 남은 순이익은 전액 새로운 일터사역지 설립을 위한 기금으로 적립합니다.  적립된 순수익금은 적절한 금액이 적립된 후 파트너 단체들이 GWMF와 협력하여 다음 지원할 일터사역지를 물색하고 결정하여 이 같은 BAM단체들을 자체적으로 재생하는 것을 지원합니다.

The end goal of GWMF is to contribute to creating resilient communities by enabling these organizations to be self-sustaining and self-propagating. GWMF does not wish to create dependency. Rather, GWMF will empower the organizations to research the level of self-sufficiency in both religious education and economic development. Once the organizations reach self-sufficiency, these organizations will set aside a certain amount of income and, with the help of GWMF, will contribute to replicating the BAM model in other communities of need.

BAM 지식보급 및 홍보 지원 (DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND PROMOTING BAM)

연구 및 프로젝트 실행과정 전반에 걸쳐 GWMF는 신중하게 경험을 문서화하고 축적된 지식을 공유하여 다른 단체들도 이 같은 사업을 얼마든지 배우고 실천할 수 장려할 것입니다. GWMF는 전 세계 BAM 기관 네트워크를 비롯해 컨퍼런스/미팅을 통해 연구와 실천을 통해 배운 내용을 의도적으로 공유합니다. GWMF는 이처럼 하나님나라 복음에 입각한 선교적 사명을 통해 사회에 더 많은 사람들에게 폭넓게 경제적 기회를 제공하고 회복력 있는 지역사회 개발을 하는데 공헌하고자 합니다.

Throughout its research and project process, GWMF will document its experience carefully and disseminate the accumulated knowledge with the hope of encouraging others to replicate the work. GWMF will intentionally share what it learned through conferences/meetings as well as through networks of BAM entities worldwide. Today, we pursue this mission through dual goals: advancing inclusive economies that expand opportunities for more broadly shared prosperity, and building resilience by helping people, communities and institutions prepare for, withstand, and emerge stronger from acute shocks and chronic stresses by inspiration of gospel.
